Del Rosario urges protest on new Chinese districts

Former foreign secretary Albert del Rosario urged the Duterte government to file a diplomatic protest against China’s creation of two districts in the South China Sea.

Del Rosario said these recent events remind Filipinos to be vigilant in defending their country's territory and sovereign rights, even amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

He accused China of exploiting the pandemic to advance its illegal claims in the waters.
