Bea de Leon, Denden Lazaro-Revilla debut with Cool Smashers

Former Choco Mucho leaders Bea de Leon and Denden Lazaro-Revilla made their debut with Cool Smashers alongside former Ateneo teammate Alyssa Valdez in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Thursday, February 29.

De Leon and Revilla played against Creamline for years as part of Flying Titans but now integrate well into their new team despite limited playing time. De Leon scored five points, while Revilla contributed defensively with 11 excellent receptions.

Tots Carlos led Cool Smashers with a career-high 31 points in the match against Akari, which Cool Smashers won 25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 25-19.

Both players expressed gratitude for their new teammates' support and emphasized how easy it was to integrate into the team due to their familiarity from college days.

De Leon and Revilla praised the supportive environment provided by coach Sherwin Meneses and their teammates, helping them adapt to the new system and training.

With Cool Smashers aiming to defend the PVL All-Filipino Conference title, De Leon and Revilla are committed to contributing significantly in what is expected to be a tough competition.
