Choco Mucho wins 3-0 in PVL All-Filipino Conference

Choco Mucho maintained its undefeated record in the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference with a four-set victory over Chery Tiggo Crossovers, improving to a 3-0 win-loss record on Saturday night.

Reigning PVL Most Valuable Player Sisi Rondina continued her impressive form by scoring 24 points and making 22 excellent receptions in a thrilling five-set match against Petro Gazz Angels last Tuesday at PhilSports Arena, earning the PVL Press Corps Player of the Week award.

Coach Dante Alinsunurin's gameplan was credited for Choco Mucho's success as Kat Tolentino highlighted the team’s dedication to their defensive system and blocking strategies in recent matches.

Kat Tolentino added 17 points, including four blocks, while Maddie Madayag contributed 10 points to help Choco Mucho prevent a comeback attempt by Chery Tiggo and secure their third straight victory.

Tolentino emphasized the importance of sticking to Alinsunurin's system and praised setter Mars Alba for her consistent playmaking, noting that their hard-fought win over Petro Gazz made them stronger.
