Creamline secures first win in PVL All-Filipino Conference, defeating Farm Fresh 3-1

Creamline Cool Smashers secured their first win in the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference, defeating Farm Fresh Foxies in a four-set match at Araneta Coliseum on Saturday.

Tots Carlos led Creamline's scoring efforts with 19 points, while Jema Galanza and Jeanette Panaga contributed 15 and 12 points respectively.

The match featured an intense opening set that lasted 45 minutes, with Farm Fresh nearly breaking Creamline’s winning streak from the previous conference before losing it 34-36 due to a key double contact violation by Creamline.

Coach Sherwin Meneses emphasized the importance of recovery and resilience after conceding the first set, which they demonstrated in Sets 2 through 4 as they successfully adjusted their play.

Creamline is now preparing for its next game against Akari with reinforcements like Bea de Leon, Denden Lazaro-Revilla, and Dij Rodriguez expected to join once they receive health clearance from management.
