DBM releases P355.1B for COVID-19 response

As of June 9, the DBM has released P355.1 billion for COVID-19 response.

The majority of this amount, P199.9 billion, went to the Department of Social Welfare and Development for cash grants under the social amelioration program.

The Department of Labor and Employment received P7.6 billion, while the Department of Finance got P88.5 billion for aid to displaced domestic and overseas workers.

Additionally, the Department of Health has received P48.2 billion, with an extra P400 million allocated to the University of the Philippines-Philippine General Hospital.
