270 Dabawenyos return from Luzon via sweeper flight

At least 270 Dabawenyos who were stranded in Luzon returned to Davao City on Wednesday via a sweeper flight organized by the local government.

This was the second sweeper flight arranged by Mayor Sara Duterte, following an earlier one that brought 120 residents back from Clark, Pampanga on Monday.

All returning residents underwent rapid tests and are currently under a 14-day quarantine.

Mayor Sara noted that while the initial plan was to accommodate around 400 people, only 270 availed of the flight.

Upon arrival, residents were thoroughly assessed by the Davao City Stranded Persons Database Center and sent either home or to quarantine facilities based on health screening results.
