Covid-19 positive patient flees isolation facility

A COVID-19 positive patient, Arani Hajiba, fled from a government-run isolation facility in Davao City on May 9.

Hajiba, described as between 20 to 24 years old with a lump on the left side of her neck, is missing and could not be located at home or in her barangay.

Mayor Sara Duterte urged residents to help locate Hajiba and avoid interactions with her.

The Davao City Police Office released a sketch of Hajiba and urged the public to report any sightings immediately.

Health authorities have intensified search efforts and beefed up security measures in all patient care facilities following this incident.
