Davao: 62% target population vaccinated

As of October 8, at least 62% of Davao's target population have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

This translates to 779,925 residents who have been vaccinated, with 646,248 being fully vaccinated as of October 5.

The city aims to vaccinate 1.2 million people for population protection and has launched 'Bakuna Nights' and mobile vaccinations led by the Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) to reach this goal.

On Thursday, a total of 51,567 Dabawenyos received their vaccines through SP-led mobile vaccinations, with 13,257 getting their second dose.
