Philippines' daily vax rate up as more doses arrive

The Philippines' daily Covid-19 vaccination rate is increasing due to steady vaccine deliveries.

As of October 7, a total of 48,390,819 doses have been administered nationwide with 25,733,468 as first doses and 22,657,351 as second doses.

The US has completed the delivery of its donated 5.57 million Pfizer vaccine doses to help boost the Philippines' response against Covid-19.

A total of 77,410,640 doses have been delivered in the Philippines with another 23.8 million expected by October end.

The NTF is negotiating with four manufacturers for between 90 and 100 million vaccine doses for next year.
