Daniel Padilla greets ex-girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo on birthday

Daniel Padilla greeted his ex-girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo on her birthday by posting an artfully blurred photo of the two with 'Happy birthday' written in Japanese on his Instagram Story at midnight.

Padilla and Bernardo, who were part of the KathNiel love team for 11 years before confirming their split last November, have moved on but Padilla has shown appreciation for their time together.

At a recent contract signing with ABS-CBN's Star Magic in February, Padilla expressed gratitude towards Bernardo and mentioned he would never forget their shared memories.

The actress celebrated her 28th birthday on March 26 but has yet to respond to Padilla's greeting as of press time.

Following the breakup, Kathryn debuted a stunning ginger hairstyle where Heart Evangelista complimented her look with 'Boogsh.'

In February, Bernardo attended Taylor Swift's 'The Eras Tour' in Melbourne and sang 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' loudly, a moment captured by her best friend Arisse De Santos.
