PAGASA: Ambulong records highest heat index at 48°C

PAGASA recorded the highest heat index in Ambulong, Tanauan City on Friday at 48°C.

This follows a trend of high heat indices reported by PAGASA over the past three days with Dagupan and Sangley Point recording 48°C on Wednesday, Legazpi City reaching 46°C on Thursday, and Cavite City hitting 46°C on Friday.

PAGASA warned that continued physical activity in these conditions could lead to heat cramps, exhaustion, and potentially heat stroke.
