DA: Farmers, fishers to get P3K fuel subsidy soon

Farmers and fishermen will receive a P3,000 fuel subsidy each from the government in the next few days to ease the impact of rising fuel prices on their livelihood.

DA Assistant Secretary Arnel de Mesa said the department is working with the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) for the distribution of cards that can be used by beneficiaries.

The initial budget was P500 million, but an additional P600 million has been added to support more farmers and fisherfolk.
