Cebu City reports 369 more recovered coronavirus patients

As of Friday, June 5, Cebu City reported an additional 369 recovered coronavirus patients, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,557.

This represents a recovery rate of 60.28% of all confirmed cases in Cebu City.

The majority of these new recoveries are from inmates at the Cebu City Jail, with 339 inmates testing negative for COVID-19.

Additionally, there were new recoveries reported from various barangays including Basak-Pardo, Mambaling, Poblacion Pardo, Inayawan, San Nicolas-Proper, Duljo-Fatima, Suba, Pasil, and Ermita.

The city also recorded 73 new confirmed cases and one additional fatality, bringing the total number of deaths to 31.

As of June 2, Central Visayas has a total of 3,165 COVID-19 cases with 84% or 103 patients from Cebu City and 9% or 11 patients from Cebu province.
