PH COVID-19 recoveries near 400K, new cases rise to 24,580

The Philippines' total number of recovered COVID-19 cases reached 398,658 after reporting 44 new recoveries on Monday.

Active cases increased to 24,580 with 1,773 new infections reported, while the death toll rose to 8,392 following 19 additional fatalities.

Health workers accounted for 12,412 total COVID-19 cases as of November 28, including 391 new infections over the past week and 402 recoveries.

The recovery rate among Filipinos stands at 92.4%, with active cases classified as mild (83.5%), asymptomatic (7.5%), severe (3%), moderate (0.31%), and critical (5.7%).
