Bataan places barangay under partial lockdown after 12 relatives test positive for COVID-19

An area in Abucay, Bataan was placed under partial lockdown after 12 relatives tested positive for COVID-19 following a worship service in Balanga City.

The new cases include three children and the pastor who led the service is from Manila or Quezon City.

Engineer Ernesto Vergara, chief of Abucay's COVID Team, said lapses occurred during the worship service.

The lockdown will remain in effect until August 11.
