Comelec proclaims 52 winning party-lists for midterm elections

The Commission on Elections has proclaimed 52 winning party-lists for the 2025 midterm elections while deferring two others due to pending disqualification cases.

These 52 groups will occupy 59 of the 63 House seats reserved for party-list representatives, with the remaining four seats dependent on the Comelec's ruling regarding Duterte Youth and Bagong Henerasyon.

Akbayan and Tingog are confirmed to secure three seats each, marking a significant comeback for Akbayan after nearly losing its seat in 2022.

The top three party-lists—Akbayan, Duterte Youth (pending disqualification), and Tingog—are projected to hold three seats each, followed by four others with two seats each.

Comelec has also proclaimed 47 additional party-lists that will receive one guaranteed seat, while 17 incumbent groups may lose their seats if the pending cases against Duterte Youth and Bagong Henerasyon are upheld.
