Fair weather prevails; rain in Batanes, Babuyan

Generally fair weather is expected across most parts of the Philippines on Friday.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands in extreme northern Luzon will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeasterly surface wind flow.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies, which may lead to flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas are forecasted over extreme northern Luzon, while light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will be experienced elsewhere.
