PAGASA: LPA, easterlies bring rains over Mindanao, Palawan

PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Mindanao and Palawan due to a low-pressure area (LPA) and easterlies.

The LPA was located 85 kilometers southeast of General Santos City on Thursday, while the easterlies will bring partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon.

PAGASA warns residents in affected areas to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
