PAGASA forecasts Amihan to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH

PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies and light rains over parts of the Philippines due to the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan.

Cloudy skies with light rains are expected in areas such as Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, and Davao Oriental.

Intermittent gusts may occur in coastal and mountainous regions of these areas.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Batangas, Cavite, and Laguna are forecast to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Ash plumes from Taal Volcano will drift south, southwest, west, and northwest if the eruption column remains below three kilometers.
