Northeast monsoon brings scattered rain to Luzon

The northeast monsoon brought scattered rain showers over parts of Luzon on Friday.

PAGASA reported that Cagayan, Cordillera, Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Aurora, and Quezon would experience cloudy skies with scattered rains.

Batangas and Cavite had cloudy skies with isolated rains due to both the northeast monsoon and Taal Volcano's activity.

Northern Luzon and eastern sections of central and southern Luzon experienced moderate winds from the northeast with rough coastal waters.

Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon saw partly cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by localized thunderstorms.
