PAGASA forecasts rains, cloudy skies due to easterly winds

PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies and isolated rains over the Philippines due to easterly winds from the Pacific Ocean.

The weather bureau warns against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms in areas like Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Caraga, Aurora, Quezon, and Samar Provinces.

Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.

Easterlies are affecting the Visayas and Mindanao, while the northeast monsoon is expected in Cagayan Valley and Aurora.
