Classes suspended in areas hit by Typhoon Nika

Classes have been suspended in several areas of the Philippines on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, due to the impact of Severe Tropical Storm Nika.

In the Cordillera Administrative Region, all levels of education are closed in Abra province, and there is no work for both local and national agencies.

In Region I (Ilocos Region), schools are suspended in Mangaldan, Mapandan, Rosales, and San Carlos City in Pangasinan province.

Region II (Cagayan Valley) has halted classes in Ilagan City and San Mateo in Isabela province.

In Region III (Central Luzon), all levels of education are canceled in Casiguran in Aurora province, Mabalacat and Masantol in Pampanga province, as well as Bamban, Concepcion, La Paz, Paniqui, and Tarlac City in Tarlac province.
