Hong Kong Eastern beats Converge 117-106 in PBA Commissioner's Cup

Hong Kong Eastern secured a victory over Converge FiberXers with a score of 117-106 in the PBA Commissioner's Cup on Friday night.

Cameron Clark led Hong Kong Eastern with 39 points and 15 rebounds, while Cheick Diallo scored a game-high 43 points for Converge.

Converge attempted to close the gap late in the fourth quarter but fell short despite Diallo's impressive performance, trailing throughout most of the second half before cutting their deficit to three points with less than four minutes remaining.

Key contributions from Glen Yang (19 points) and Hayden Blankley (21 points, 10 rebounds) helped Hong Kong Eastern maintain their lead and secure a 2-0 start in the tournament.

Alec Stockton led Converge's local players with 18 points as they dropped to a 1-1 record in the Commissioner's Cup.
