Clarito named PBA Press Corps Player of the Week

Jhonard Clarito was named the PBA Press Corps-Pilipinas Live Player of the Week for his outstanding performance in leading Rain or Shine to a semifinals berth in the 49th Season Philippine Cup.

Clarito averaged 16.5 points and 18.5 rebounds during the week, contributing significantly to Rain or Shine's victories over NLEX on June 18 and June 22.

In the first game, Clarito recorded an impressive 20-point, 21-rebound performance in a narrow win against NLEX, making him one of the smallest players in PBA history to achieve such stats.

Coach Yeng Guiao praised Clarito's effort, noting his dedication and hard work that inspired his teammates as well.

Rain or Shine secured their semifinal spot by winning two consecutive games, setting up a matchup with TNT for the next round.
