Cignal HD wins two, stays unbeaten at 3-0

Cignal HD secured a straight-sets victory over Savouge in the 2025 Spikers' Turf Open Conference and followed up with another triumph against VNS-Laticrete, Wednesday night at the Ynares Sports Arena.

Despite facing tough competition initially, Cignal demonstrated championship poise to win each set by narrow margins against Savouge and then cruised past a young VNS-Laticrete squad, 25-21, 25-13, 25-19.

The defending champions pulled away in the third set with a crucial run led by Steven Rotter, JP Bugaoan, and Martin Bugaoan against Savouge, while Dexter Clamor maximized his roster's depth in the VNS-Laticrete match.

With this win, Cignal now shares the lead at 3-0 in the tournament, matching the unbeaten run of their arch-rival Criss Cross, and will aim for another victory against PGJC-Navy Sealions on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Rizal Memorial Coliseum.
