Savouge beats VNS-Laticrete in Spikers' Turf match

Savouge defeated VNS-Laticrete in straight sets, 25-16, 25-20, 25-23, to improve their record to 3-2 in the Spikers' Turf Open Conference at FilOil EcoOil Arena in San Juan City.

Mark Frederick Calado led Savouge with 18 points and coach Sydney Calderon emphasized the need for sustained focus during late-game leads as an area of improvement moving forward.

Savouge dominated the first two sets before securing a narrow win in the third, showing poise despite a three-point deficit.

The match lasted one hour and 18 minutes with Charles Jordan Segui scoring 17 points for VNS-Laticrete but could not prevent their fourth loss in five games.

Savouge will next face PGJC-Navy on Sunday at 6 p.m., while VNS will play defending champion Cignal earlier that day at 3:30 p.m. both matches taking place at the Ynares Sports Arena.
