CIDG investigates OFW who skipped quarantine

CIDG has started investigating another case of an overseas Filipino woman who skipped mandatory quarantine upon returning to the country.

The traveler, identified as someone from the United States, arrived on December 22 and went directly to her condominium in Bonifacio Global City instead of checking into a quarantine hotel in Makati.

She reportedly posted about getting a massage on social media while skipping quarantine, leading authorities to apprehend her.

Interior Secretary Eduardo Año stated that the Bureau of Quarantine denied any exemption for this traveler's quarantine and confirmed she did not show up at her designated quarantine facility.
