Novaliches, Cubao dioceses lock down churches for two weeks

The Dioceses of Novaliches and Cubao in Quezon City will lock down their churches starting March 22 to help curb the spread of COVID-19.

Novaliches Bishop Roberto Gaa and Cubao Bishop Honesto Ongtioco announced the initiative following discussions with local government officials and reviewing data from OCTA.

Church activities during this period will be livestreamed on their official Facebook pages.

The churches in Novaliches will reopen on April 5, while those in Cubao will resume services on Easter Sunday, April 4, adhering to strict health protocols.
