Christmas Day cloudy and rainy in Visayas, Caraga; isolated showers on Eve

Christmas Day in Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, and Caraga region in Mindanao will be cloudy to rainy due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), with possible flash floods or landslides.

PAGASA warns of isolated light rains in Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Ilocos Region due to the Northeast Monsoon, while scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in southeastern Mindanao.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with localized thunderstorms causing isolated rain showers, with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

On Christmas Eve, most parts of the Philippines experienced isolated rain showers, with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms likely over Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Dinagat Islands, and Davao Oriental due to the ITCZ affecting southeastern Mindanao.

PAGASA warns of possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains and light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas prevailing across the country.
