CHR demands NPA surrender those responsible for Masbate landmine blast

The Commission on Human Rights (CHR) is demanding that the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) and its armed wing, the New People's Army (NPA), identify and turn over those responsible for a landmine blast in Masbate that killed Far Eastern University football player Kieth Absalon and his cousin.

Davao del Norte Rep. Pantaleon Alvarez echoed this call, stating that an apology without accountability is unacceptable and justice must be served.
