Flying Titans lose PVL final, Madayag stays positive

Choco Mucho Flying Titans captain Maddie Madayag expressed pride despite falling short once again against Creamline in the finals of the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference on Sunday, May 12.

Despite being shorthanded due to injuries to key players Kat Tolentino, Des Cheng, and Aduke Ogunsanya, the Flying Titans put up a strong fight but ultimately lost in a five-set Game 2 amidst an enthusiastic crowd of over 24,000 fans at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Maddie Madayag acknowledged her team's accomplishments and encouraged them not to feel ashamed, emphasizing that reaching the finals is a blessing.

The Flying Titans finished with an impressive record of 9-2 in the elimination round and swept the semifinals despite being short-handed.

Sisi Rondina, one of the conference's best outside spikers, expressed determination, saying 'as long as we believe, trust each other, and win, we won't have any regrets because we gave our best.'

Looking ahead, Madayag remains optimistic about having injured teammates back for future matches and believes the team's best performance is yet to come.
