Choco Mucho tops PVL All-Filipino Conference with win over Strong Group

The Choco Mucho Flying Titans maintained their top spot in the 2024 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference with a decisive win over Strong Group on Saturday at PhilSports Arena, boosting their confidence ahead of their crucial match against Creamline on Thursday.

Choco Mucho secured an 8-1 record after defeating Strong Group in straight sets with scores of 25-17, 25-15, and 25-15.

Veteran Royse Tubino led the offense for Choco Mucho, scoring a game-high 17 points from 15 attacks and two blocks.

Coach Dante Alinsunurin expressed excitement about facing Creamline, noting that it is the only team he has yet to defeat in his PVL coaching career. He emphasized the importance of preparation and maximizing their system for the upcoming match.

Creamline improved its record to 7-2 with a straight-set victory over Nxled Chameleons on Saturday, increasing their confidence heading into the high-stakes game against Choco Mucho.
