Chery Tiggo sweeps Strong Group 3-0 in PVL

Chery Tiggo secured their second consecutive victory by sweeping Strong Group Athletics 3-0 in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Former PVL MVP Mylene Paat led Chery Tiggo with nine points, while EJ Laure added nine attacks and coach Kungfu Reyes expressed satisfaction with his team's performance despite playing off the bench.

Chery Tiggo maintained a strong lead in each set, particularly overcoming Strong Group's mini-run in Set 2 to ultimately win by a significant margin of 25-12, 25-17, and 25-19.

In the final set, Strong Group briefly narrowed the gap but Chery Tiggo secured victory with crucial service and net errors from their opponents. The match lasted one hour and 17 minutes.

Coach Kungfu Reyes emphasized that his team is getting better every game and praised the bench depth, noting they will continue experimenting with different lineups to find the right blend of players for the long conference.
