Cebu eyes vax requirement for cemetery visits

Cebu City is preparing to extend its Kalag-kalag observance from October 18 to November 4 due to the ongoing pandemic.

The city's acting mayor, Michael Rama, urged residents to plan their cemetery visits ahead of time and adhere to health protocols.

The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is considering a proposal to allow only vaccinated individuals into cemeteries during Undas observance.

Consultant Colin Rosell stated that proposals for pandemic-related contingency plans have been submitted to the EOC for review.
