NegOcc police to patrol cemeteries, LGUs close sites Oct. 30-Nov. 2

The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) will deploy personnel to patrol cemeteries and memorial parks from October 25 to November 4 to ensure visitor safety and compliance with health protocols during Undas.

Lt. Abegael Donasco, NOCPPO spokesperson, announced that police from 31 city and municipal stations will man assistance desks and conduct patrols.

The police will be on full alert status between October 30 and November 2.

Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson and Mayor Evelio Leonardia have issued executive orders closing public and private cemeteries in Negros Occidental from October 30 to November 2 to curb the spread of COVID-19.
