Duterte: NHA to give P100M aid each to Odette-hit provinces

President Duterte instructed the National Housing Authority (NHA) to give P100 million in aid to each province devastated by Typhoon Odette.

The NHA will distribute building materials for rebuilding houses and the Department of Interior and Local Government will supervise the distribution.

Duterte visited Dinagat Islands, one of the hardest-hit areas, promising assistance for clearing operations and home reconstruction.

Provincial officials estimate that up to 95% of houses in Dinagat were affected by Odette, with a total of 8,661 damaged homes recorded in Caraga Region.
