DOH welcomes CBCP offer to use churches as vaccination sites

DOH Secretary Francisco Duque III welcomed the Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) offer to use church facilities as vaccination sites.

Duque said churches can serve as alternative sites for areas lacking proper facilities, especially hard-to-reach municipalities.

CBCP President Archbishop Romulo Valles offered church facilities to aid in the vaccine rollout expected to start by February.

The DOH is reaching out to various sectors to help with the vaccine distribution and confidence-building.
