Brownlee leads Barangay Ginebra, Gilas in Feb tournaments

Justin Brownlee is set to lead Barangay Ginebra in the PBA Commissioner's Cup semifinals while also spearheading Gilas Pilipinas in a series of tournaments including friendlies in Doha, Qatar from February 15 to 17 and FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers against Chinese Taipei on February 20 and New Zealand on February 23.

Despite limited recovery time between PBA games and national team commitments, Mr. Brownlee expressed readiness for both, emphasizing his desire to stay sharp and improve his performance.

Gilas coach Tim Cone is implementing load management strategies for Justin, AJ Edu, and June Mar to prevent burnout during these intense periods.

Brownlee hopes that the stint with Gilas will help him further improve ahead of Ginebra's semifinal series against NorthPort.

The import is scheduled to play in friendly matches with Gilas Pilipinas before returning to Barangay Ginebra for the best-of-seven semifinals.
