Boracay reopens to domestic tourists

Boracay reopened on Thursday for domestic tourists with 35 visitors arriving on the first day.

Tourism Secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat said travelers must secure a negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours before travel, book an accommodation at a DOT-accredited hotel, and register through the Aklan local government website for contact tracing.

Visitors below 21 or above 60 years old are allowed except those with underlying medical conditions.
