BOC: Vaccine used by military had no papers

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) stated it was not informed about the importation of COVID-19 vaccines given to military personnel and top government officials.

Assistant Commissioner Philip Vincent Maronilla said there were no instructions from the BOC regarding the vaccine imports, and the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) has not cleared any vaccines for entry into the country.

Maronilla noted that all COVID-19 vaccines entering the Philippines must secure necessary permits from the FDA, which have not been issued yet.
