Luzon dams continue spilling after Typhoon Quinta

Three dams in Luzon—Magat, Binga, and Ipo—continued spilling operations on Tuesday morning to manage water levels after Typhoon Quinta.

As of 6 a.m., Magat Dam had one gate open at two meters, Binga Dam had one gate open at 0.3 meters, and Ipo Dam had one gate open at 0.2 meters.

The spilling operations aim to prevent structural issues in the dams due to high water levels caused by Quinta's rains.
