Floods submerge 21 Bulacan barangays due to Quinta

At least 21 barangays in Bulacan's Hagonoy and Calumpit towns have been submerged due to floodwaters from Typhoon Quinta and high tide.

Floodwaters reached up to five feet in some areas, forcing evacuations of at least 10 families in Calumpit.

Bustos Dam and Ipo Dam released water early Monday morning as both dams reached their spilling points; Ipo Dam's water level was reported at 101.23 meters by PAGASA.

The Candaba Swamp on the Pampanga River reached a critical water level of 4.93 meters, affecting Calumpit and Hagonoy.
