Bataan records 19 new COVID cases, total reaches 523

Bataan recorded 19 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, bringing the total confirmed cases to 523.

Nine of the new cases had close contact with previously infected individuals.

The number of active cases is now at 188 while deaths remain at 15; eight more recoveries were reported.

Previously, a senior citizen became Bataan's 14th Covid-19 fatality and two other new cases included senior citizens from Mariveles and Balanga City.

The total number of recovered individuals has increased to 320 after five recent recoveries.
