Baito's free kick secures UST's 1-0 win over Adamson in UAAP

Jan Patrick Baito scored a crucial goal from a free kick in the 67th minute, securing University of Santo Tomas's 1-0 victory over Adamson University in the UAAP Season 87 men's football tournament on Sunday night.

Baito expressed gratitude towards coach Marjo Allado for giving him the opportunity to take the critical free kick that boosted his team's confidence and moved them up to fifth place with six points.

UST will face Far Eastern University Tamaraws in their next match at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Adamson Soaring Falcons are set to play against De La Salle Green Booters earlier the same day.

Defending champion University of the Philippines secured a 3-0 victory over University of the East and will face FEU again in a rematch of last season's final on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
