Baguio records two more COVID-19 cases

Baguio City recorded two additional Covid-19 cases on Thursday, bringing the total to 43.

The city is investigating a possible third case and its second death since March 19; results from a swab test of a 54-year-old woman are pending.

On Wednesday, Baguio reported two new cases, increasing the total to 41. The latest patients include a 10-year-old girl with exposure to a known positive case and a 30-year-old female hospital worker who had contact with a Covid-19 patient.

Public Information Office chief Aileen Refuerzo noted that Baguio residents should maintain vigilance in observing health protocols due to the recent surge in cases.
