Duque, Galvez willing to get first doses of COVID-19 vaccine

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III and Vaccine Czar Carlito Galvez Jr. expressed their willingness to receive the first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to demonstrate its safety.

Both officials emphasized that all approved vaccines will have undergone rigorous regulatory procedures.

Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Secretary Martin Andanar also stated his readiness to be among the first recipients of the vaccine, aiming to encourage Filipinos to avail themselves of the free immunization once available.
