Recto files resolution: LGUs, private sector can buy COVID-19 vaccines

Senator Ralph Recto has filed a resolution urging the government to permit local governments and the private sector to import coronavirus vaccines.

Recto argues this will help prevent the spread of the disease and speed up economic recovery, thereby creating more jobs.

The senator stipulates that any imported vaccines must be authorized for emergency use by the FDA.
