Health authorities repatriate 80 Chinese tourists from Wuhan

Health authorities in Aklan repatriated 80 Chinese tourists from Wuhan on January 25, as part of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reported that almost 500 Chinese tourists originating from Wuhan were set to return to China, with some flights already departing and others scheduled for January 27.

While those identified as coming directly from Wuhan were repatriated immediately, other passengers not from Wuhan were allowed to stay in Boracay until January 27.
