Akbayan leads party-list race with over 2.75M votes

As of Wednesday, May 14 at 3:00 PM, Akbayan leads the party-list race with over 2.75 million votes (6.71%), surpassing Duterte Youth by nearly half a million votes and securing three seats.

This performance contrasts sharply with pre-election surveys where Akbayan was not expected to break into the top 10 party-list groups, marking its best showing since 2010.

Duterte Youth secured second place with approximately 2.3 million votes (5.61%), followed by Tingog with around 1.79 million votes (4.36%) and 4Ps with about 1.44 million votes (3.50%).

Among the likely winners are ACT-CIS, Senior Citizens, Mamamayang Liberal Party-List, and others based on partial results aligning with pre-election surveys.

The Commission on Elections has processed 97.37% of local election returns as of Wednesday afternoon.
