Adamson Lady Falcons edge Ateneo in OT, advance to UST final

Adamson Lady Falcons secured a 59-53 overtime victory over Ateneo Blue Eagles in the UAAP Season 87 women's basketball tournament on Saturday, November 30.

Cheska Apag's clutch jumper with 5.5 seconds left tied the game at 49-all and sent it to overtime, where Adamson outscored Ateneo 10-4.

Elaine Etang led Adamson with 22 points and 8 rebounds, while Oluwakemi Adeshina contributed 16 points and 7 rebounds.

With the win, Adamson advances to face the defending champion UST Growling Tigresses in another knockout match on Wednesday, December 4.

Ateneo's Kacey dela Rosa led all scorers with 19 points and 24 rebounds but could not prevent Ateneo from losing despite her team's effort.
